MY DESIGNER SHOE COLLECTION 2017

Like a true UK resident, I have to mention the weather. Bloody hell, it’s been HOT!! I can barely cope. I went to Camber Sands Beach on Saturday and got such a bad sunburn. Sleeping for the past two nights has been a nightmare! Haha. Are any of you in the same situation? .. Ok, right, weather chat done. Today I wanted to share with you my designer shoe collection. It’s not a massive one, but it’s one I’m very happy with. Some of these shoes I got on sale, some were gifts and only a few I bought full price.

Let’s kick things off with my first ever designer shoe purchase, the Gianvito Rossi Calabria Courts. I initially bought the white and nude pair in a size 35, but believe it or not, it was a little too big. The problem I have with my feet is that they’re small and thin, not a great combination. But I was determined to make these shoes work, so I wore them out with insoles. Spoiler, the insoles didn’t help, and after walking just a couple of steps on concrete floor the shoes started to come off my foot. Obviously they didn't fit, so I sold them on Vestiaire Collective. I lost SO much money on them and only wore them for a couple of minutes. Not a great start in the designer shoe world.

This is where the black pair come in. I really wanted the white and nude pair, so I bought the black pair in half a size down just to see how they would fit. They fit like a glove and I just couldn’t send them back. I ended up keeping the black pair and I also ended up making a bespoke order for the nude and white ones. The heel on them is very high, but I have to say that they are super comfortable considering they’re a pump with no straps. I recently attended a wedding wearing these and I managed to wear them for a full 10 hours, and that’s with 3h of dancing included. There’s also no denying that these shoes are super sexy, especially the black pair! But the nude and white combo turns heads every time I wear them. The black pair is soft leather and the nude and white is patent leather. I was quite scared that the black pair would get easily scuffed, but I’ve worn them out so many times and the leather is still intact.

You know how I just said the Gianvito Rossi shoes were comfortable? The Valentino Rockstud Pumps are even more! I believe it’s down to the fact that it has a a strap and support around the foot. I got these in a 35 and they are true to size. However, I did also try them in a 35.5 and they were also ok. I think because it has the strap, you can get away with going half a size up. These are just a killer pair of heels, they literally change an entire outfit. I sometimes wear a pair of jeans, a basic t-shirt, whack on these heels and bam! I immediately look put together. As far as the leather goes, I had seen a few reviews of people complaining about the leather getting scuffed, I haven’t had that yet, maybe because mine are patent. However I am having to send them off for repair as the bottom part of the heel has come off on one of the shoes. Let’s pray it gets fixed!

My beloved Chanel Slingbacks. I can’t tell you how much I adore these. Just looking at them makes me happy. They have such a classic vibe to them and they look incredible with almost any outfit. At first I was gutted that they didn’t have them in soft leather when I bought them, but after seeing so many of the leather slingbacks look marked and worn in, I am so thankful I went for the suede. Before wearing them out I sprayed them with a suede protector and up until today, they still look as good as new. These are a size 35 and they are true to size. I guess with slingbacks it always depends on your personal preference, you can go up a size so your heel doesn’t ‘hang’ out the edge of the shoe, or you can go true to size. In my case, my foot doesn’t hang out at all, but like I said, my feet are quite slim, so they always slide to the front of the shoe anyway. Also like I mentioned in my Chanel Slingback post, the strap at the back can seem like it’s sliding off the foot, but it isn’t. It just sits lower than most slingback shoes.

The Chloe Foster Sandals were... a mistake! Haha. They’re just not very me. A couple of months ago I saw these on sale reduced from £600 to £350 and I just had to buy them. I thought that with summer around the corner I would get a lot of use out of them, but the truth is that I almost forget I own them. I got swept up into the whole sale malarky and impulse purchased. They are a size 35 and I’d say they’re true to size but if I were to buy them again, I’d buy them in a 35.5 or a 36, mainly because the front of the sandal is quite rigid, and they hurt my toes a bit after wearing them for a while. I’ve only worn these twice, so I can’t say if they soften up after a while.

Let’s move on to my Gucci Espadrilles. For espadrilles, I guess they’re not as comfy as they could be. It has the rope-like material on the inner sole which rubs my feet a little after wearing them for a long period of time. They also stink! Haha, I know this is TMI, but they really do! Every time I wear them I have to leave them airing out for quite some time. The top bit is made of canvas which is perfect because you can wipe them clean whenever they get a little dirty. I also really like the design, I find it gives the shoe a cooler vibe than just a plain pair. I got these in a 35 and they fit perfectly fine.

I think that I’m quite the expert in picking out comfy shoes. Not one of these high end shoes are uncomfortable to walk in, but these Tory Burch sandals are just something else when it comes to comfort! They are the perfect sandal to wear when your foot has got blisters. The strap goes around your ankle which means that the back of your heel is free and isn’t touching anything. Life SAVERS!! The leather on these sandals is also incredibly soft and it has a rubber sole so you won’t be sliding around the streets. I would honestly buy these again in a heartbeat.

These next two shoes I’ll talk about at the same time because they’re both similar in the fact that they’re comfy, add something special to any outfit and I’ve also dedicated a blog post to each, so you can read more about the Nicholas Kirkwood Beya Flats here, and the Aquazzura Christy Flats here. The Beya flats are just such a different style of shoe for me. Up until recently I was never one for flat shoes, and I definitely wasn’t one for metallics. However, these are so comfy, they completely transform a plain outfit into something more interesting and because of them being a metallic silver, they really add something special to my collection. The Christy Flats are equally comfy, they’re not as practical due to them having the laces, but the laces add something very sexy to the ankle.

So there it is, my shoe collection. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I did order another pair of shoes and I'll be writing about them in a post very soon, so keep your eyes peeled. Hope you all have a fab ween and stay safe in the sun! Don't get sunburnt like Sandra over here.

Lots of love, SFS.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Good afternoon!! This post is coming to you a little later than usual and I’m currently sat having a kale and spinach smoothie. Gosh, I can’t tell you how much I’m in need of a detox. I’ve been having McDonald’s almost every night and have generally been eating a whole load of crap. Krave cereal for breakfast, isn’t it just delicious?, a wrap for lunch accompanied by crisps, loads of Monster Munch and chocolate in-between and then some sort of fast food for dinner. Thank God I don’t make Youtube videos anymore, imagine me filming a ‘What I Eat in a Day’ haha. However, me and Ricardo booked a cheeky getaway next month, it’s only for a few days but I want to feel good for that, so yesterday I hit the gym, done a massive healthy food shop and I’m going to try my very best to eat well and exercise as much as I can for the rest of this month. That doesn’t mean I won’t eat any naughty snacks, I’ve currently got a caramel shortbread with my kale smoothie. Balance :-P

So, like I mentioned in a previous post, me and Ricardo moved house. For the first week I must admit that I felt absolutely devastated! I couldn’t stop crying. I made some amazing memories in the old place and it was the first house that felt like home since I moved to Bristol back in 2010. But as of right now, I’m ok with it. I’m thankful for all the good times I had there and I’m looking forward to making new memories at this place. The new house is so gorgeous! Literally what I’ve always wanted. It’s still quite small but very welcoming, has a lot of natural light and all the furniture is neutral coloured. I’m hoping we can get a little puppy this year too. We’re yet to ask the landlady for permission, I think we’ve both put it off in fear she’ll say no, but I’m hopeful she will agree to it. We’re very good tenants (if I do say so myself), always take good care of the house we’re in, and we’re happy to lose a bit of the deposit to cover for any damage the dog may cause. So keep your fingers crossed for us!!

Shopping wise, I’m currently not very inspired by anything. I don’t know, I just haven’t really seen anything I like which is bad because I desperately need a few new pieces to take away on holidays and I haven’t got much time left! I’ve given up on ASOS because literally every time I go on there and click on something I like it’s ALWAYS sold out. Does this happen to any of you too? So frustrating. I did however, find a pair of Gucci slingback loafers that I had been lusting over for ageees! I managed to find them on My Theresa. Yay, yay, yay! :-D They arrive tomorrow, so hopefully they fit! If they do, I’ll write up a post about them.

I was gonna end this post here, but I remembered, Love Island!! Have any of you been watching? What are your thoughts? So far, I love Sam. He’s such a cutie and I think Olivia is a massive tit for swapping him for Chris. Speaking of Chris, what a twat. I’m sorry, but he’s just too big headed and needs to come back down to earth. Although he’s attractive, he’s no Alex Bowen is he now? Haha. Marcel is the best! I can’t believe he’s still single in the Villa. Just goes to show girls prefer the bad boys as per. Jess and Dom are a bloody hot couple, but I’m not sure Jess likes him as much as she says she does. I hope she proves me wrong for Dom’s sake, you can tell he’s falling hard for her. And lastly, Camilla and Jonny. Omggg! Camilla is so gorgeous, so intelligent and the bestest friend ever. The way she defends people even when they’re not around is just incredible.

Now, onto the outfit. I went to a shopping mall called Cribbs Causeway two months ago with Ricardo and we had a little mooch around the shops and funnily enough, the only place we found something we liked was Next. They had such a great selection for both men and women. I bought these cropped, grey linen trousers (similar) and this super airy blue and white stripped shirt. They have become two of my favourite items to wear! Both the trousers and the top are so versatile and work well with day and evening looks. For shoes I went with the Aquazzura Christy Flats. Like I mentioned in my Aquazzura post, they’re just super comfy and go well with everything. I do need to get a rubber sole put on them though. And lastly for sunnies, I used my Prada Cinema sunglasses. They’re very classy and definitely something that won’t go with every outfit, but worked perfectly with this one.

Have a great end to the week!
Lots of love, SFS.

THE ROAD TO RECOVERY

Yep, I did it again! I got fake nails and my real ones look like crap now. I don’t know why I never learn my lesson. The thing is that I hate doing my nails. The nail drying process sucks the life out of me! I’ve tried Seche Vite and really don’t get the hype around it, so because I don’t like doing my nails, I always end up getting acrylics. But I must admit that when I take care of my natural nails, they do grow quite long and are actually pretty healthy. As of right now I’m over the fake nail look, I want natural, classy nails, so I went to get my fake ones removed. As you'll be able to see from the pictures, they’re looking absolutely awful! I get goosebumps just by looking at them. But I’ve been through this process many times before, and here are some tips and products that help me get them back to shape.

Keep them short.
Trying to grow out your nails when they’re in a fragile state is pointless, they’ll break and get caught on every piece of clothing you own, not to mention your hair when you try to wash it. Personally my nails go a lot longer without breaking when I file them into a round/almond shape rather than square, but the lady that removed my acrylics filed them into a square shape, so I’ll see how that goes. I guess that as long as the edges are smooth, they shouldn’t get caught on anything.

Don’t neglect your cuticles.
I always find that having healthy-looking cuticles changes the whole appearance of your hands. I have an awful habit of picking the skin around my nails, so one thing I can’t go without is cuticle oil. Currently I’m using one from Orly. I like to rub this onto my cuticles a couple of times a day, but I go quite heavy handed at night before bed.
(Please excuse how VILE they look!)

Keep your hands moisturised.
My hands are ugly, ok? Haha! But when I take care of them they become a little prettier to look at. An at home treatment I like to do while I watch an episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, is to mix olive and coconut oil in a small bowl, pop it in the microwave for a few seconds and then let my nails soak in it. I then rub the oil all over my hands and put gloves over the top and leave it on as an overnight treatment. Works. A. Treat. You’re welcome.

Use a nail strengthener.
There are many in the market but the only one I strongly recommend is OPI Nail Envy. I've used Nail Envy for four years and it is just incredible! It helped me grow my nails to a length I had never been able to before. It made my nails really strong, they could hit the hardest surface and not break. But of course, you can’t apply this and expect miracles to happen, you need to make sure you’re doing all the other steps, especially keeping your nails free from any jagged edges. A very recent purchase is the Nails Inc After Gel Hangover Cure Treatment. It’s meant to be a 10 in 1 treatment for nails that have been damaged by gel manicures or nails that are in a fragile state. Any guesses as to why I bought it? I’ll see how I get on with this and update you in a future post.

Help them grow.
One of my favourite nail treatments is the Nutra Nails Nail Growth Serum. If you're going to buy anything I mention in this post, it has to be this, and Nail Envy. I can’t tell you how much of a difference this makes. It sounds very gimmicky and initially I was just using it because I liked the idea of it and it felt nice giving my nails a massage, but then I started to see results. If your nails have a hard time growing or if like me you’ve had fake nails on and you’re in a rush to get your natural healthy nails back, this is something you absolutely need.

Without wanting to state the obvious, make sure you’re taking vitamins and eating healthily (take you own advice Sandra!), as this will also help. Sooo.. there it is, a little post to help all you ladies with nail problems. Hope you’re all having a great start to the week.

Lots of love, SFS.

AQUAZZURA CHRISTY FLATS

Shoes. What a beautiful word. For some reason that reminds me of a film. They didn’t use the word ’shoes’ but it’s definitely from a film. Can’t remember which one it was or the word they used... grr, so annoying when that happens haha. Now, I know that the word luxury has been getting quite a lot of bad press lately, but I just think that there is so much content out on the internet to cater to everybody’s interests, that I don’t see the point of leaving hate comments on somebody else's page over them wanting to spend money on designer items. It’s their money, they’re the ones working hard to earn it, so why can’t they spend it the way they want to? Aaah, the internet is a crazy place! So having said that, if designer goods aren’t your thing, look away now!

These Aquazzura Christy Flats have been on my wishlist for over a year and a half. I was going to buy them last summer but then one of my friends sent me a link to Lydia’s Best and Worst Designer Purchases video, where she put these shoes in the ‘worst’ category, so that kinda put me off. However, Spring came around again, and these shoes were still on my mind. Lydia mentioned in her video that the shoes looked tired after only wearing them a few times and that she was disappointed in how they wore, but I wanted to try them for myself. Just because something doesn’t work for someone, doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. So I went ahead and bought them. Not gonna lie, I did create a Farfetch account with my brothers e-mail to get a cheeky 10% discount haha. Don’t judge me!

When they first arrived I was most surprised to see a dark grey and white box. It’s my first every Aquazzura purchase, but all the unboxing videos I watched on YouTube all had a blue shoe box. The dust bag is still the same colour and it’s an actual dust bag, not a shopping tote bag, thank goodness! I got the shoes out in a hurry and quickly tried them on because my sizing is quite funny when it comes to designer brands, but I picked these up in a UK size 2 and they fit perfectly. The laces were wrapped together, and it did take a while for them to lose the curls and become straight. Some bits of the leather on the laces were also sticking out. I don’t really know how to describe it, but it’s like you could peel off parts of the leather. I thought it was a defect, but it still happens now, so I guess it’s normal.

Now, on to the shoes themselves. Like I said, sizing is perfect, so go with your usual size. They are super duper comfortable and they did not rub me at all! I had read somewhere that you need to tie the laces up quite tight as they can become undone, and I definitely agree with that, you do need to give them a good tug for them to stay in place.

As far as the shoe looking tired, I have to say I haven’t found that to be true yet. I can imagine that for people with wide feet like Lydia mentioned, it can happen, but if your feet are narrow like mine, they will hold their shape quite well. Personally I don’t mind when the leather creases a bit due to wear, I think it looks quite cute, but if you don’t want that, they also do this shoe in suede, so you can always opt for that as it won’t crease as much as soft leather.

At first I found it quite bizarre for me to wear a pointy flat shoe. I think I mentioned this in my Nicholas Kirkwood post, but I was never much of a flat shoe girl. I’ve always been a heels, converse or sandals girl. So to wear a flat shoe, with a pointy toe, felt very unusual to me. Every time I wore these shoes and looked down at my feet, I never felt like myself, but recently they’ve been the shoe I reach for the most.

With all the excitement of the unboxing, I completely forgot about the famous quote inside the Aquazzura shoe box. How cute is it?! Absolutely love the detail :) All in all, I am 100% happy that I bought these, my only regret is that I didn’t buy them last summer haha. I have now got a massive love affair with Aquazzura and I have so many shoes by them on my wishlist. As you know if you read my blog, I’ve just moved house and spent quite a hefty amount of money on deposit, and new furniture and stuff, so I can’t go crazy on shoes, but be ready to see me talking about more Aquazzura shoes in future posts.

What’s your opinion on the whole ‘luxury’ items topic?
Lots of love, SFS.

ONE LOVE

It’s two days after the London attacks as I’m writing this, and it’s chucking it down with rain. I have to say, this weather is a perfect representation of how I’m currently feeling. I was getting ready for bed the other night before I checked Twitter and saw people tweeting about the devastating news. Worry just came over me and my heart sunk. My parents, my brother, my cousins and their children, my best friend Glace, all live in London and my first thought was ‘I hope they’re ok’. I quickly messaged Glace who told me she was safe, and I was holding off from calling my mum because I knew I would break down on the phone. I knew that all my family members were home by the time the attacks happened, with the exception of my dad who is a chef in a restaurant in Vauxhall. Obviously restaurants close very late, so he’s only ever home at about midnight. It was a very long one hour before my dad made it home. My dad is one of those old fashioned men who hate technology, so he never, ever has a phone on him. I doubt he even knows how to use one with all the hi-tech things they do these days, so we had no way of reaching him.

I’m currently living in Bristol and the feeling of helplessness I felt was overwhelming. Not that I would’ve been able to do much more if I was at home in London, but at least I would’ve had the support of my mum and my brother. The police later announced that the Vauxhall incident was not related to the London Bridge and Borough Market attacks, but when it first made it on the news, it sounded like it was. I’m just so grateful that all my family and friends are well, and I am so deeply sorry for anyone who has lost someone they knew. It’s such a sad time for the world. I just hope that people don’t let the fear of terror take over their lives and don’t let it stop them from doing whatever it is they want to do. Also, how BEAUTIFUL was the Ariana concert? I was watching it last night and I seriously lost count of how many times I cried. Ariana is such a brave, young woman. A true inspiration to everyone! Whether you're a fan of her music or not, I think it’s safe to say that the whole world fell in love with her last night.

I pray we all stay safe, I pray we all see the light even in dark times like these. And please don’t let racism into your life. A religion is not to blame for what has happened. Remember that. And I know this is an incredibly cliche thing to say, but please tell your loved ones how much you love them everyday, even when you’re annoyed about something they did. I’m sure all the people who lost someone in these attacks, would love the chance to tell them once more how much they mean to them.

Stay safe.
Much love, SFS.

PIXI SKINCARE ROUTINE

For the longest time I’ve been super unhappy with my skincare regime, I’d say probably since Christmas or even before! I wasn’t using a serum that was suited to my needs and I found my skin looking dull and flakey, especially around my forehead. I changed my moisturiser to a super pricey one, but even that one didn’t sort out my problem areas. Shh, I’ll let you in on a secret, I can’t blame the products entirely for my bad skin months because I had been pretty lazy when it came to my skincare routine. I pretty much only cleansed and moisturised. Some days I even skipped eye cream! What the heck?!

I was itching to try new products and believe me, it’s been a long time since I felt that way. Pixi is a brand I had never tried too much from, but the couple of bits I had tried, I loved! So I went into Marks & Spencer and picked out a plethora of Pixi products. I went with my old favourite, the Hydrating Milky Mist. It’s just such a pleasure to use, it leaves my skin feeling moisturised and dewy looking. Definitely a firm favourite and one I’d recommend for anyone lacking glow or for people with dry skin.

Of course, Glow Tonic had to make its way into my shopping basket (aka my arms). It’s such a cult favourite and for good reason. I really don’t like exfoliating my face with a scrub, so using this glycolic acid works wonders for me. A hydrating serum was next on the list, maybe even on top of the list, and since I’m such a firm lover of the Hydrating Milky Mist, I thought I’d try out the Hydrating Milky Serum. After using this for two consecutive weeks, I have to say this is definitely what my skin was missing! It absorbs into the skin really quickly and makes a world of a difference on how the products I layer over the top perform. I no longer have any rough or flakey areas on my skin, and it feels incredible to put on makeup without worrying if it’s going to cling onto any dry patches.

Overnight masks are my thing! I can’t be bothered anymore to do the whole 20min mask and then having to struggle rinsing it off my face, so overnight masks are the way forward for me. This Nourishing Sleep Mask isn’t my favourite find. Well, I’ve only used it a couple of times, but so far I can’t tell a difference from when I use this mask, or just a regular night cream. So yeah, I’ll probably use this up and purchase the Origins one again. However, the day and night cream I got are both wonderful products. I picked up the H20 Skindrink day cream, which is a gel texture moisturiser. It feels really cooling on the skin when you apply it and is the perfect product for summer as it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. I’d say even people with oily or combination skin would get on well with this. And lastly, for night cream I bought the Beauty Sleep Cream. All the products smell amazing, but this cream especially. Every morning when I wake up my skin feels super soft and happy! I know it sounds quite ‘yeah, whatever’, but it really does! I guess because it’s been a while since my skin felt this way, I can really tell the difference.

Pixi products are also quite affordable. They’re all around the £18-£28 mark, which isn’t a lot for good quality skincare. I’m dying to try their new Sun Mist, I think it’ll be so useful to take away on holidays. But yeaaaah, this was my Pixi haul and my updated skincare routine. Let me know if there are any other products I should try from them or any other brand :)

Lots of love, SFS.

YOU'RE SO SKINNY

Body shaming is something that has been around for God knows how long and we all know that it won’t be going away anytime soon, unfortunately. I’m pretty sure most of you reading this right now have experienced or are experiencing some sort of body shaming, or even passed on comments about somebody else’s weight yourself.

I’ve always been a skinny girl. I have a small frame and no matter how much I eat, I just can’t put on weight. It’s something that I have struggled with since a very young age. Back when I was in primary school I went through a lot of shit regarding my weight. Everybody, well, mainly boys, would comment on how skinny my legs were. ‘Get some meat on your legs’, ‘have a biscuit, you need it’, ‘eww your collarbone looks disgusting' were just some of the distasteful things I would have to put up with. I don’t think people realise just how hurtful words can be, especially at such a young age. I feel like those words have always stuck with me.

The unnecessary comments continued in secondary school, although I must admit that they weren’t as regular, but of course, a douche would always find a way to bring up my weight just to get a few giggles from fellow classmates. Up until recently I struggled with body confidence. Most of my friends would call me silly and say that I’m ‘so lucky’ to be able to eat what I like, but I just saw myself as someone who was too scared to wear a skirt, someone who couldn’t eat a salad with fear of being judged, someone who always felt the need to hide behind jeans or trousers.
I can’t tell you how many times I had gotten ready for a night out, put on a skirt or a dress, and then changed into jeans right before leaving the house with fear of getting body shamed. Back in 2013 I started to workout quite regularly and managed to put on 5kg. That was the most I have ever weighed in my life! Personally I don’t think I am extremely skinny, in fact my body mass index says I am just the right weight for my height, but my point is that bullying is something that stays with someone. Those words seem to get drilled into our heads and even though we grow up and become adults, that insecurity seems to always be at the back of our minds.

The thing that annoys me the most is that people seem to brush skinny shaming under the carpet. People don’t see it as such a big issue compared to fat shaming, but personally I think it’s a lot worse!! It’s worse because people don’t think that skinny shaming is offensive. People think that skinny people are skinny just because they want to be. That’s fucking bullshit! And the thing people don’t realise is that everybody fat shames behind someones back, but nobody has an issue pointing out how little a skinny person eats, or how ‘disgusting' they look to their face. But you would never hear someone telling a bigger person to their face ‘you’re so fat, eat a salad instead’. None are right! There shouldn’t be bashing of any weight, at all!! The best way for a bigger person and a skinny person to feel good about themselves, is if we stop judging and start complimenting instead.

If you’re overweight but want to enjoy a burger, have the damn burger! If you’re underweight but fancy having a salad, then by all means, have the salad. It’s hard to get over hurtful words, they always seem to find a way to creep into our heads and play on our insecurities, but the only way you’re going to get rid of them is by facing what you’re scared of. It’s by wearing that skirt you’re so intimidated by, it’s by putting on those leggings you think your bum looks huge in, it’s by stepping out of your comfort zone. If you read my Beat the Bullies post, you will know that I am no longer embarrassed of my legs. In fact, I actually really like them!! And I only discovered this because I stepped outside my comfort zone and wore a skirt and fell in love with how my body looked.
Other peoples perception of you, isn’t your reality. Wear what you want to wear, eat what you wanna eat and f*ck other peoples opinions. Like the saying goes ‘opinions are like arseholes, everybody has one and most of them stink’. So yeah, sorry about this babble of a post, it’s just something I felt strongly about for so long, and now it feels like it doesn’t even matter because I no longer care about other peoples opinions of me, and I want you not to care either.

Have a fab week :)
Lots of love, SFS.

ART BY DESENIO

Morning you lovely bunch! Quick update from me, I moved house! It’s been two weeks since the move and I have to say I’m kinda missing my old place, but I’m absolutely loving the new one. Confusing right? Haha, I'll fill you in on the details in a future post. Today I wanted to talk about these gorgeous prints I ordered from Desenio. I had never heard of Desenio until the beautiful Lizzy mentioned them in one of her videos. Since I moved house I wanted to totally redecorate the place and inject a bit of colour as the house is very white and crisp. The ordering process with Desenio was super easy, their website is simple to use and delivery was mega speedy.
Everything was packaged up nicely and the quality actually exceeded my expectations. I promise you, I hadn’t been this excited for a delivery in ages! I was sitting by the window having my cheeky Nutella on toast when I saw the delivery man leave his truck with a package that had sellotape saying Desenio on it. I can’t tell you how quickly I jumped off my chair and ran downstairs haha. I ordered three prints and three frames to go along with it. If I had to pick a favourite, I think it would be the Sea Foam print. How stunning are the colours? Can’t get over it!! But the Shadow and Palm Leaves prints are equally beautiful. Like I mentioned, I wanted to inject a bit of colour into the new place, and these prints add just the right amount.
There are a few more prints I have my eyes on, so as soon as I have these on display I’ll probably make another order. I won’t be sharing how I decorated the place with these prints just yet as I am still waiting for a few orders to arrive, but I will be sharing a post with snaps of the new place when it’s all come together.

Have a fab day!
Lots of love, SFS.
